Ingredients needed:
1/2 cup Softened Butter
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
2 tbsp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
1 3/4 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Sugar (For rolling)
48 miniature Reese’s cups, unwrapped
96 white round candies (jimmies, sprinkles, sugar pearls, or dragees)
1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat the oven to 375. In a large bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, egg, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and milk together.

Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and beat until blended.

Form into 1″ balls. Roll in sugar and place a couple of inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven and carefully press an upside peanut butter cup on each cookie. Place back in the oven for 1 minute. Remove the cookies from the oven and place them on a wire rack; place the candy “eyes” on the Reese cups while the chocolate is still slightly soft.

Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 20 seconds; stir and repeat until chocolate is melted. Place melted chocolate into a plastic bag and cut a very small piece off of the corner of the bag to allow for piping. Pipe the chocolate to create eight legs on each spider cookie. Allow the chocolate to set.
