Oven Fried Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 lb. chicken breast tenders
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • One egg
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • One cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Favorite dipping sauce, if desired

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray. In a shallow dish, beat the egg and water. Combine the bread crumbs and cheese in another dish. Coat the chicken with the flour, dip it into the beaten egg mixture, then coat it with the bread crumb mixture. Place the coated chicken on the cookie sheet, bake it 15 to 20 minutes, turning it over once in that time. The chicken will be fully cooked when it is no longer pink in the center and the coating is golden brown.

Serve it with the dipping sauce along with mashed potatoes. A great meal kids will love along with sweet cherries from the produce department for dessert.
