Broccoli Cheese Salad



Ingredients:
  • 5 cups of broccoli crowns
  • One cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Two tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons red onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs bacon – cooked and crumbled

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar together. Cut the broccoli crowns into bite-size pieces and fold them into the mayonnaise mixture.

Mix the bacon and onions in with the mixture and allow it to set overnight in the refrigerator. Makes a great warm weather lunch or served as a side dish with a grilled dinner of steaks, burgers or hot dogs and it’s great on a picnic. Enjoy!
