Beef Barbecue Sandwiches



Ingredients:
  • 4# Boneless Chuck Roast
  • One Cup Flour
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • Olive Oil
  • Favorite Barbecue Sauce

Preparation

Mix flour, salt and pepper together in a dish.
Coat both sides of the chuck roast with the flour mixture
Pre-heat olive oil in a dutch oven or deep skillet.
Brown both sides of the chuck roast in the dutch oven or skillet.
Transfer the chuck roast to a casserole dish and place in a pre-heated 350 degree oven, bake uncovered for 1/2 hour.
Add 1/2 cup water to the roast and cover with foil. Bake for an additional 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from the casserole dish and shred the beef with a fork.
Place beef in a mixing bowl and add the barbecue sauce, serve on a fresh Kuhn’s roll from the bakery, a side of cole slaw completes a delicious meal.
